We share things from a Biblical perspective, but the research shows the tools and resources we provide are helpful for your marriage regardless of your beliefs.
Why should we take this course over an in-person class or pre-marital counseling with a pastor?
We're big fans of an in-person class or counseling (we still lead them ourselves) and we know the value of real-life relationships. With that said, we also know that not everyone has the opportunity to attend an in-person pre-marital program. This is a great alternative for long-distance couples who need a virtual option or couples with work or travel schedules that don't allow for a conventional class. Or even if you do get a chance to take an in-person class, you might want additional resources. With this online course, you can move at your own pace, dive deeper into the specific areas that are most relevant to you, and always come back to the resources throughout your marriage.
How much time will this course take?
The course is self-paced, so you can start whenever is best for you and move at whatever pace works for your schedule. The videos lessons are all less than 10 minutes each, but the time you spend on each lesson will depend on the conversations you have inside the prompted exercises. We do recommend working through a few lessons at a time over the course of a few weeks rather than doing it all in one sitting so you can soak in all the tools you're learning. (More details will be given to you in the course intro.)
